Nixon Elementary School

Activities & Clubs

Nixon partnered with Hiawatha Parks & Rec for the 2025-2026 school year to offer both Sports & Arts after school enrichment programs twice a week.

Four children are painting at a table with art supplies, while a wall with a large abstract image hangs in the background.

Our PTA and Family Engagement Committees host a variety of after school family events including: Winter and Spring Carnival, Dinner and a Movie, Popsicles on the Playground, STEM Night, and so much more!

A young boy in a blue shirt aims a ball at a row of yellow cups in the foreground, while a woman in jeans and a teacher in a maroon shirt stand in the background near shelves of books and cubbies.
