Welcome to Nixon Elementary School. We are excited to have you visiting our page and to share our amazing work with you. We have almost 300 students ages K-5th grade and offer art, music, physical education, guidance, library, special education and gifted programs. Our mission in Cedar Rapids Community School District is to ensure all of our students experience a rigorous learning experience so they have a plan, a pathway, and a passion for their future. At Nixon, we work hard to ensure all children have learning experiences that empower them to be future ready.
