A popular children’s book author made a virtual visit to Nixon.

In case you missed it, Nixon students have spent several days reading through one of Dan Gutman’s books, “Bunny Double, We’re In Trouble” as a one school-one book end of the year event. They read a chapter or two per day in their homerooms and played a fun 9 @ 9 Trivia Game every morning on announcements to see which class is the 9th caller with the correct answer to a question about the book.

As an added bonus, they had the chance to meet author Dan Gutman and learned everything from his writing process, to hearing a chapter from his new book being released in June, and they even got to ask him some questions at the end of the virtual visit.
